You can get the Teak Shield in either a 1 liter or 3 liter bottle along with an applicator cloth.

Why do you need Teak Shield?
Based on water-soluble substances and solvent-free, Teak Shield protects your teak furniture against food and drink stains. It's a virtually invisible impregnation that makes it very difficult for wine, olive oil, butter, coffee, etc. to penetrate the wood, allowing you to simply wipe away the residue with a damp cloth after a meal. For this reason, Teak Shield is also ideal for indoor use.
How is Teak Shield used?
- Wear eye protection and rubber gloves when using Teak Shield. Also, cover the floor of your work area beforehand.
- Before using the Teak Shield on new teak, you should first expose the furniture to the weather for 1 to 2 weeks.
- Teak wood that has turned dark grey must first be cleaned with Teak Cleaner.
- Allow the wood to dry completely.
- Shake Teak Shield for at least one minute before use. Then apply a thin layer of Teak Shield with a soft cloth.
- After a drying time of 4 hours, apply a second coat.
- After 48 hours of drying, the wood can be exposed to moisture again.
- We recommend treating teak furniture with Teak Shield at least annually. Table tops at shorter intervals.
